Zechariah 11:5-7

⁵ Those who buy them slaughter them and ^[a]go ^(A)unpunished, and each of those who sell them says, ‘Blessed be the Lord, for ^(B)I have become rich!’ And their ^(C)own shepherds have no compassion for them. ⁶ For I will ^(D)no longer have compassion for the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord; “but behold, I will ^(E)let the people fall, each into another’s ^[b]power and into the ^[c]power of his king; and they will crush the land, and I will ^(F)not rescue them from their ^[d]power.”

⁷ So I ^(G)pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, ^[e]therefore also the ^(H)afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two ^(I)staffs: the one I called ^[f](J)Favor, and the other I called ^(K)Union; so I pastured the flock.
