Those who buy them slaughter them and [a]go (A)unpunished, and each of those who sell them says, ‘Blessed be the Lord, for (B)I have become rich!’ And their (C)own shepherds have no compassion for them. For I will (D)no longer have compassion for the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord; “but behold, I will (E)let the people fall, each into another’s [b]power and into the [c]power of his king; and they will crush the land, and I will (F)not rescue them from their [d]power.”

So I (G)pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, [e]therefore also the (H)afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two (I)staffs: the one I called [f](J)Favor, and the other I called (K)Union; so I pastured the flock.
